Chapter 1 Birth

This is a pictorial tour through my life.

The journey starts with my parents. Beverly Eck, Carl R. Hein Jr., These are my parents. They had me at a very young age. As most young people they thought they were in love. And perhaps they were.

I was born at a very young age naked, freezing and screaming like hell. I was born on April 11, 1972 sometime after 11pm. The next set of pictures are of me when I was less then 2 weeks old.

New baby picture. Seeing the new baby. Quiet as usual.  On a pillow. In the stroller. Holding the baby.
As far as I remember I was a happy baby and the pictures prove it. You don't see me crying in any of the pictures. I guess I didn't want to trouble anyone. This is me before I could walk. Some of the pictures were dated 6 months old.

Around the age of 2 my mom and dad were on the outs. They got a divorce and I went with my mom. After that I didn't see my dad until I was around 10 years old. After the divorce my mom met john. He was a good guy, I remember him vaguely, But I do remember some things. The first 5 pictures of time we spent with john. The last is a picture of me at the VFW.
